    Verdict

Both Pivotman and Eeny Mac have won amateur events recently, although the latter has been beaten since. Mcmonagle was winning for only the second time in 37 starts when successful at Redcar last time while neither Red Charmer nor Wellingrove were able to follow up earlier victories at Hamilton racing off higher marks on their latest outings. ORIONS HERO went close over a mile here last month and Richard Fahey's charge gets a speculative vote to improve on his previous attempts at today's longer trip.
