Tele Red went close again last time having won an amateurs' race at Pontefract earlier while Dr Rio finally ended a long losing run when scoring here with Zihaam well beaten. The latter won this back in 2020 while Hostelry beat Dandy's Angel at Carlisle in July and the latter went on to win over track and trip. Just Hiss has been thereabouts in amateur races but a speculative vote goes to the returning SKYE BREEZE, who makes his handicap debut having been gelded since last year and will handle the soft going.
