Verdict

Few of these arrive in the best of nick for the opening race of the campaign but JUSTONEFORTHEROAD has contested high grade handicaps in his time and it's only just over a year ago that he was a close-up fourth in Levitate's Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster. Admittedly, he's been out the back the last thrice but should be good enough if retaining only a portion of previous ability now dropped into the lowest grade. Juvenal, an ex-Richard Hannnon inmate, is interesting on his first run for the Harker team and has to be respected, as does Nubar Boy despite the imposition of topweight. Ian Williams' charge usually saves his best for the all-weather but turns up in very fair form with George Downing claiming a useful 5lb. He should be thereabouts.
