Verdict
VINE DE NADA couldn't live with the Brocklesby winner Mick's Yer Man at Musselburgh on his debut but has the beating of Sleaford on collateral form. Mark Johnston's colt should improve for that experience and gets the nod. Tyrsal is another likely to have come on for his introduction at Southwell and, given Richard Fahey has a good record in this race, Blades Boy could also figure. The latter could have been better drawn, however, and the same comment applies to White Flag, who has plenty of speed in his pedigree. Hot Stock may turn out best over longer trips in time and Chamberlain makes more appeal on breeding.
