        Verdict

        The juvenile form of Moonsprite was most progressive and, although cases can be made for Shell Garland, Gryngolette and Promising, the daughter of Seeking The Gold is taken to get off the mark today. The step up to ten furlongs should be ideal for her and she should relish this stiff uphill finish. However, assuming that she has shown plenty at home, her chance will be reflected if the early offer is snapped up about her when the betting opens. Shell Garland is bred to do better this year and, with her stable in such good form at the moment, is one to consider for a bit of value. However, she looked a little short of pace on her last start and is not one to go overboard about without a solid indication from the ring. Gryngolette, on the other hand, has the benefit of race-fitness on her side and a maiden looks to be a formality for her in time. But Moonsprite just edges the vote on grounds of anticipated improvement today.
