    Verdict

Tom Sawyer had a short-head to spare over BRONZE BEAU here in May and the runner-up is only 1lb better off but generally goes well on the track and can gain revenge and land this. Noodles Blue Boy has won eleven races in his career - the last time on soft ground here in August. He'd been in reasonable form from this sort of mark before impeded at the start on his last visit here. Tweety Pie has only won once in 19 starts and that was over two years ago on this track though she's reasonably consistent and the assessor can't loosen his grip. Classic Flyer has struggled from his revised mark after completing a Newcastle double in early summer.
