Danehill Desert is top rated in this claimer but weighted accordingly. He hasn't run well in his two starts since scoring at Hamilton, though one was in a lucrative sales race and the other on Tapeta. His stable companion Flo's Melody won sellers at Wolverhampton and Ripon before well beaten in a nursery on the former track. Our Little Pony won a similar race over the course and distance in May but her only poor run came on soft ground so connections will be hoping for drier conditions. Seen The Lyte has been running consistently all summer and though lacking a finishing burst may not need one in this company. Ollie Pears does well here and CHRISTMAS NIGHT has shown enough in his five starts to be handed the vote with the going is expected to dry out for him.
