Verdict

Talent Scout's winning run around here came to a close last week but the Beverley-loving veteran still ran a fine race and seems sure to be in the mix once again. However, NAVARONE has confirmed juvenile promise this term with a consistent sequence, highlighted by a decisive success here in June over this trip. A good effort followed behind Lomu at Ayr and a 1lb rise should not prove a barrier to another competitive effort. El Principe was taken out here last week but turns up now to tackle 7f for the first time for over a year. Jane Elliott is value for her claim and the combination looks dangerous. Saint Equiano rates another pungent threat after a battling win at Carlisle and could progress again, with Sovereign Bounty also respected.
