        Verdict

        Locombe Hill has a six pounds penalty to carry for his win at Thirsk last time under today's apprentice jockey but that was over seven furlongs and he has three furlongs further to travel. Swynford Pleasure does not win that often but goes well here and ran well at the weekend at Redcar when second to the useful Gralmano. Others to consider in an open heat are top weight Noble Pasao and the ex-French trained War Owl, the mount of Kevin Darley.
