Verdict
The run of Dotty Darroch in the first division will be a pointer to the chances of Sophie's Beau, who beat her by almost four lengths over C&D last time. He's 7lb higher now, however, and may not have the same scope as the three-year-old ELUSIVE BONUS. A seven-length winner on easy ground at Redcar on Saturday, David Bergin again takes off 5lb and he should be able to shrug off his penalty. Duke Of Rainford is back on a winning mark and looked to be on the way back at Thirsk last week - he is also worth a second look.
