Verdict

Smart Illusion posted a much better effort here last time but that was in a handicap. The Big Bad is weighted to beat the latter and went close over 7f at Catterick earlier when finishing in front of SIEGE. But little went right for John Quinn’s charge on his racecourse debut having been slowly away and hampered at one point in the race. He’s expected to finish much closer today and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Castle Quarter. Ollivander, George's Law and Archies Lad are others likely to improve with Eesha's Smile a newcomer to note.
