Verdict

CONDE is the most exposed and was well beaten off a mark of 73 in a Goodwood handicap latest but has been gelded since and this is not a particularly strong novice event on paper. Scottish Reel has the beating of King Of Cali on Thirsk running and will have learned plenty that day. He’s preferred to Peace Walk of the two Johnston runners but Arctic Sunrise, a half-sister to two winners, is potentially more interesting.
