In depth

Verdict

Richard Fahey can land a quick double here with the aptly named DOUBLE CEE. He made a promising debut when fourth at Haydock and would have finished closer if not for being short of room and losing his place a couple of furlongs out. Maastricht tries a longer trip having failed to build on his earlier third at Newcastle and makes more appeal over today's distance than Bapak Pintar, who has been placed in both starts over 6f. Dr Irv is hard to assess as he was third over 7f here last month, but has finished last either side of that run, though Naseem Alyasmeen could figure with an extra furlong to cover today.
