        Verdict

        Last year's winner OLDJOESAID is back for more and competing off an 11lb lower mark. Paul Midgley's veteran may well have another win in him off his current rating. Bronze Beau landed the 2013 renewal and races off the same mark today but El Viento is upped 5lb after ending a long losing run with victory at Sandown. Cosmic Chatter finished ahead of the latter in soft ground here last month while Point North beat Tweety Pie over track and trip back in May, though the latter is weighted to reverse that running. Recent Carlisle winner Ypres and Compton River could both go well.
