Verdict
George Baker doesn't send many horses to Beverley so the presence of AQUA ARDENS in this humble claimer catches the eye. The seven-year-old's last six starts have been in Class 3 handicaps and this represents a big drop in class so he can make the long journey pay off. Don't Call Me is comfortably the top rated but has been beaten in similar races already this summer and may have to settle for a place. Layla's Hero had Zaza Zest behind when landing a similar race over the course and distance last time but the latter has more scope and could reverse the places. Talent Scout hasn't won for over a year and will do well to add to his nine career victories.
