Verdict

Winds of Change, Squirtle and Blushing Hillary are the three that catch the eye and preference is for Winds Of Change. Squirtle seems to have improved from two to three, showing decent form this season without getting his head in front. After just being touched off by Spring Dream he chased home Wind Of Change but has since gone up three pounds in the ratings so he may still find winning difficult. Blushing Hillary is still a maiden after ten starts but seemed to appreciate the step up in trip to ten furlongs last time. This is another two furlongs however and this stiff track may just stretch his stamina. Winds of Change has also progressed this season, opening up with a good third first time out before disappointing on the Lingfield Polytrack last time. He appreciated the stiff mile and a half at Hamilton to lose his maiden tag last time and he can handle this four pound rise in the handicap which may not be enough to stop him.
