Nevada Desert is the selection with Blue Spinnaker and Riley Boys put forward as the alternatives. Richard Whittaker's charge won well at York and that represented a fair bounce back to form. He is quickly turned out under a penalty before the assessor has his chance to strike. Blue Spinnaker is a fair handicapper on his day although he could be vulnerable if they crawl in the early stages. Riley Boys is respected as a course-and-distance winner. He is off a stiff mark but runs here better than anywhere else. Pontefract specialist, Flighty Fellow obliged at his favourite track last time out and appears to act on any surface. Rodeo was well punted on his last visit to Beverley so the market is watched again. Prince Evelith has plenty to prove on recent formbook evidence. Nevada Desert is in form and if the ground stays on the easy side, he looks the one they all have to beat.
