In depth
Verdict
Pirata Tesoro won a handicap at Longchamp in October and Picnic Royal also returns to action having landed a handicap at Toulouse in the same month. But Sagaroi makes more appeal having beaten the re-opposing Mad River when scoring over track and trip in November and can figure once again. GUARDIAN FAY ended 2019 well beaten in a Group 1 contest in Germany but had won a maiden race over today’s trip at Saint-Cloud before that under Maxime Guyon. Reunited with the latter for this, she gets a speculative vote on her reappearance with more to come from her this year.
