        In depth

        Verdict

        Spirit Intime, a winner on Deauville's all-weather track in December, was returning from a break when down the field at Chantilly earlier this month and should be better for the run. Nero A Meta scored at Aurrilac and Toulouse last year but couldn't handle the step-up to Listed company on the latter track in November. SKY POWER scored at Chantilly in November and was having his first subsequent start when mid-division in a Longchamp Listed contest a couple of weeks ago and looks the one to beat. Lauenen won a couple of minor races in the provinces last summer including first-time-up though takes a step-up in class. Rock Chop landed a Pau maiden in January but was well beaten at Chantilly a couple of weeks ago but Levant made a successful debut at Tarbes a year ago and scored again in the summer before ending the campaign in Listed company. The bottom quartet are all winners in minor company with chances in a wide-open contest.
