    Verdict

    Jan De Heem makes more appeal than Point Of Control over today's trip. The former never looked like catching the winner over course and distance last time but kept on well to finish second and should have a say in this. However, the two less exposed types should both be suited by the step up in trip as they make their handicap debuts. Simple Joys finished runner-up at Windsor on her return but SYRENKA was well beaten at Ascot. The latter was quietly fancied on that occasion and she gets another chance to prove herself in this.
