Verdict
STONE ROSES, a half-sister to five winners, had looked moderate before a much better effort at Newmarket where she would have gone close but for being impeded. She's handed the vote to make amends in a tricky maiden. Siren's Cove, who was in front of her at Yarmouth in June, failed to find the expected improvement in her next start on the same track. After three decent efforts over 5f, Renaissant started favourite when sent over 7f at Newmarket but failed to last home and will be better suited by today's trip. Red Perdita must have a chance as she's progressed with every run though it was very fast ground at Yarmouth last time. Queen's Pearl will improve from her debut and Miss Minuty is a newcomer to note.
