      Verdict

      Starlight Mystery showed good pace and got closer to the winner in the second division of a novice auction event at Beverley last month than FLOSS THE HOSS did in the first division. But David Evans’ filly was hampered when making her move and there may not be much between the pair today. Firenze Rosa was well beaten at Windsor and neither of the newcomers make much appeal on breeding in a modest opener.
