Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Virile was third over 7f here last week but dropping back in distance may not be the answer to ending his losing run. BLISTERING DANCER is only 2lb higher than when scoring at Thirsk over this trip a year ago. He looked to be on the way back at Kempton in March and makes more appeal than stablemate Wedgewood Estates. This is Great Expectations’ level and it would be no surprise if John Jenkins’ course and distance winner was in the firing-line again.
