Verdict
Diminuto can follow up in the finale, with Hereford Boy, Mr Loire and Silver Hotspur taken to chase him home. This should not take that much winning, and although the recent success of Diminuto came on the Southwell Fibresand, he lines up in good heart and should be capable of following up, although he would really prefer faster ground based on past efforts. His recent form should offset that negative though, as none of his rivals look up to scratch. Hereford Boy looks the main danger, as he handled the easier ground when successful over the course-and-distance the time before last, but that was a poor affair, and he has since been turned over at Lingfield. Mr Loire has blinkers on for the first time today but has topweight to overcome, while Silver Hotspur has an absence to overcome, and if attempting to make all, will no doubt tire when it matters. So, the finger points very much to Diminuto.
