      Verdict

      STORM LIGHTNING floundered in the heavy ground at Beverley last time but had looked to be running into form before that with a third over track and trip. Back on a winning mark, he's preferred to New Decade. The latter has also been threatening to score over 6f recently albeit in soft ground while Welease Bwian ran well over the same distance at Newmarket last time. Picansort is without a win on Turf but can race off a much lower mark on this surface and found only Dreams Of Glory too good here last month.
