Verdict

Noteworthy showed a little improvement on her first outing after wind surgery when finishing three lengths behind the winner at Kempton. Today’s drop back to 6f may suit but MONARCH MAID is preferred on last week’s second at Chepstow given this looks less competitive and Peter Hiatt’s mare won off a higher mark last season. Born To Boogie may well have finished closer than fifth if he'd got a clear run over track and trip a week ago and Katherine Place may do better today now handicapping for the first time.
