In depth
Verdict
Gone'n'dunnett is still 7lbs higher than when scoring at Yarmouth three outings ago and looks opposable and we take a chance with Milton Bradley's Boanerges, who is preferred to stablemate Pulse. The selection is a much better horse on a fast surface so his last time out effort at Thirsk can easily be discounted. Better judged on earlier form here and at Ripon the seven-year-old is well treated on his best and with ground conditions to suit, he gets the vote. Pulse has been running well without winning and deserves to get his head in front but may be a shade high in the weights at present. Top weight Guns Blazing has been raised 7lbs for his win at Lingfield last time and needs a career best effort to score here so a bigger threat may come from Rod Millman's Jazzy Millennium, who drops back in trip. The vote though goes to Boanerges, who is taken to give Milton Bradley another handicap winner.
