      Verdict

      Fieldsman knows where the winning post is here and he can probably be forgiven his run in a ladies’ handicap at Ascot last month. Tintoretto has gone close a couple of times this year but FANGORN returned to form with a vengeance at Newbury and may be capable of defying a 3lb rise. Macs Dilemma also arrives in top form and looks a bigger danger than the three-year-old King Of War. Porterinthejungle was engaged in the 4.10 here yesterday.
