    Verdict

    Desert Falls and Hand Painted arrive out of sorts and are up against it at the weights. They're hard to fancy as such and this looks between the remaining pair. DEERSLAYER makes most appeal of those as he lost his maiden tag over C&D in May and is dropped in class after a couple of starts in handicaps. Jim Best's charge has to concede 10lb to Basle but, after going close at Leicester in June, the latter has ran a couple of shockers in better company and it's just a guess as to how she'll perform today.
