        Verdict

        Happy Jack has been placed twice on the all-weather but showed nothing on Turf last year. Bold Cross isn't betting any younger but should still be capable of a bold showing in this grade. Polydamos and Storm Runner are other with each-way claims but it's difficult to evaluate Wicked Tara's form in the Channel Islands and Katniss has had a year off. NIFTY KIER has only been raised 2lb for scoring over 1m at Bath and a repeat of that effort here would probably suffice as Weardiditallgorong only beat one home at Leicester after springing a surprise at Lingfield.
