Verdict
Billy Allen sets a fair standard but with Mick Channon's stable back among the winners again, Fools Entire looks the one to be on with Tardis the only other serious danger. The selection ran a race full of promise on his debut over this trip at Folkestone last month and should have learnt from the experience. Channon has a good line through his Windsor Castle Stakes winner Holborn to Billy Allen, who finished last of for behind the subsequent royal winner at Kempton. Admittedly Richard Hannon's colt seemed to improve for the step up in trip when chasing home White Hawk at Warwick recently and rates an obvious danger but he has less scope than the selection. Tardis is bred for middle distances so it was no surprise to see her step on her debut effort over six furlongs when upped to seven last time. Morag ran encouragingly on her first start but probably needs more time and, with Jamie Osborne's newcomer Regulated making limited appeal, we stick with Fools Entire.
