        Verdict

        This is pretty desperate stuff but PICANSORT was beaten less than a length in a better race on the Turf at Lingfield 10 days ago and can race off the same mark. He must surely take all the beating as none of the others can match that form. Tancred wasn't disgraced over 6f on Polytrack last time while Gypsy Rider has won and been placed here in the past so has to go on the short-list. Compton Prince is probably the pick of the remainder but that's not saying much.
