      Verdict

      Mutual Friend, Lapina and Seeking The Buck are shortlisted in this handicap and the vote is given to the first mentioned. The selection ran well on his handicap debut at Lingfield when he beat Jaady. He has a penalty for that success but he still looks as though he could be well treated and for that reason we will nominate him. Lapina won at Bath last time but it was a weak handicap and the simple truth is she does not look to be the most straightforward. Seeking The Buck ran with promise in a maiden at Beverley which was won by Soccerjackpot. He is making his handicap debut here and is certainly worth a look in the market. Crossing The Line is from a yard in top form but has plenty to prove at present and we prefer the claims of Mutual Friend who gets the nomination.
