        Verdict

        BATCHELOR BOY loves it here and has slipped to a very generous mark. He was beaten by Pop Dancer over track and trip last autumn but is 9lb better off and Tony Carroll’s six-year-old has an absence to overcome. The latter’s yard also run June’s Wolverhampton winner Cinque Verde and she is one of four three-year-olds. Swift Asset and Crow's Nest have both won this season and Song Of Success has been steadily improving, though was a beaten favourite on Turf at Lingfield last time. The Defiant looks the pick of the remainder.
