In depth

Verdict

It was testing ground when UNCLE DERMOT bounced back to form at Salisbury last week. Most of today's penalty is negated by an apprentice's claim and given he scored by four lengths last time, he looks to have a leading chance in this. Saint Irene has been in fine form on faster ground though she looks high enough in the weights now while Kavachi was placed over a longer trip off a higher mark here in August and he could figure. Byrd In Hand is a course winner and another to consider off his current mark.
