Verdict
Looks like this will be a match-up between Canadian Danehill, Stan's Girl and stable-mates Majestical and Campeon with the vote going to the last named. Campeon can be forgiven his recent flop at Chepstow on Soft ground and is better judged on his winning Bath performance over his preferred five furlongs. Even though he is a few pounds higher, a repeat of that run will see him go close. Canadian Danehill finished third over seven furlongs and connections are hoping this shorter trip will suit. Stan's Girl was a shock winner over course and distance last month but this will prove tougher for him. Majestical pulled himself into the ground at Bath on his latest start and this quicker track will suit. But for the winner we return to Campeon.
