In depth
Verdict
An interesting maiden in which SPARKLIGHT is just given the nod over Kandoo. The selection has twice finished runner-up at Kempton and the better effort of the two came when upped to this trip last time. The latter had fair form in Ireland before joining Archie Watson and just failed to score at Bath after a prolonged duel. The best of Nelson Rose's form also brings her into contention and the Botti team had a juvenile winner earlier this week so Super Hit is an interesting newcomer, likewise the Michael Bell debutante Tara Atacama.
