Pat Phelan's Wheipa Snapper is a consistent performer and deserves to get his head in front having been placed seven times but he has still yet to win from 14 starts so looks booked for a place at best again. Gary Moore's Finch Flyer ran much better at Brighton last month but a 5lb rise since that run looks rather harsh and he may have to settle for minor honours. The John Hills-trained Affirmable has been given a chance by the handicapper and has the assistance of the very capable Holly Hall but she is hard to back with confidence on the evidence of recent runs. The vote then goes the way of Julia Feilden's LITTLE MEADOW, who is another that has yet to win a race but he has shown improved form of late and looks worth chancing off his light weight.
