        Verdict

        A couple of these bid for a hat-trick having won apprentice races last time and both escape a penalty. Channel Packet won over today’s trip before scoring over 7f at Leicester but KIRKLAND FOREVER has completed a double over 1m4f here and she gets the vote having romped home by seven lengths on her latest start. Tommys Geal went close over a longer trip at Kempton but that was back in March and last year’s winner Sussex Girl is preferred now back on a winning mark. Diamond Reflection and Altaira were placed over a mile in their respective divisions of a handicap at Bath and both stay this far.
