        Verdict

        Surdoue has strong claims here in another poor contest and gets the verdict over Iamback and Rhoslan. The selection has hit winning form on the all-weather recently, landing a similar contest to this at Southwell. That was over a mile and a half, but he appears just as good, if not better over this shorter trip and if he can show the same ability back on turf he will be hard to beat. Iamback also hit winning form recently at Wolverhampton, only to be disqualified for interference. Compensation awaits for this one but today he may have to play a supporting role. Rhoslan has been running much better than the form figures suggest and he may be capable of making the frame. Nassau Street ran some respectable races last season and is also worthy of a mention, but Surdoue looks the form pick her and gets the verdict.
