        Verdict

        The three against the field in the finale are Brennie, Start Of Authority and Figaro's Quest with the vote going to the last named. A good second behind Maneki Neko at Salisbury last time out Figaro's Quest looks a horse that is weighted to win and looks a horse coming back to his beat. If reproducing the same level of form of that Salisbury run he has to go close and being the form horse is difficult to opposes. Start of Authority has shown enough form in the past in maiden company to suggest he has a win in him. This is a drop in grade but he looks more exposed than most. Brennie has put in some fine efforts of late but can also throw in a stinker. He looks a little inconsistent and is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Figaro's Quest.
