    Verdict

It was a bit disappointing that Always Et Toujours couldn't build on his earlier win when third at Catterick last time, but he's not out of this. Neither is Oscan, who was fourth at Wolverhampton last time with Faraway behind, while the other Godolphin runner, Abhaath, was placed at the same track on his handicap debut last month. Royal Academician is capable of better, but Nottingham winner GUAVA looked to be crying out for today's extra furlong when second at Kempton a week ago and she gets the nod. Intomist looks best of the rest making his handicap debut.
