    Verdict

Richard Hughes looks a positive jockey-booking on LAYLA'S HERO and he can take top billing in a competitive heat. David Simock's gelding ran alright at Haydock when fourth behind Uphold but with the drop in trip in his favour, along with a lifetime low mark of 94, he should run a creditable race. Colepeper ran well behind Kajima earlier in the month but his runs on soft ground in the past, have all, barring his debut at Hamilton, left something to be desired. Imperial Guest runs the track well so is respected, despite a lifetime high mark, and along with the well-handicapped pair of Jeninsky and Mujood, joins Epsom winner Woodcote Place in making this a very tricky little race to call.
