      Verdict

      Michael Appleby is an infrequent visitor to Brighton and his Southwell third Secret Clause is the only one of these to have so far managed a place but we'll take the view that BREAK FREE can find a bit of improvement on his first start in a handicap with Cam Hardie's claim a plus. Commanding Role only weakened inside the final furlong on his latest run at Ffos Las so should be suited by the drop back to 5f.
