      Verdict

A competitive maiden opens the card and from a shortlist of TRUE RED, Nadeen and Little Perisher we will side with True Red. The selection stepped-up on her debut run when she chased home Chicita Banana at Bath last time out. That represents decent form in the context of this race and as she should have no problems handling this track she looks the one to beat. Mick Channon does well with his runners here so his newcomer Nadeen is well worth a check on his racecourse debut, although he is bred to be suited by further in time. Little Perisher was well beaten on his debut at Newbury, but that was quite a hot race and he should come on for the experience. Safari Red has the pick of the draw and he wasn't disgraced on his debut at Folkestone. He will need to improve though to win this, and we will stick with True Red who can get her head in front at the third time of asking.
