    Verdict

    TEARS OF THE SUN had had a couple of runs before winning this last year off a 9lb lower mark but she does go well fresh and took on decent opposition in the second half of last year. Clive Cox' mare can complete the double ahead of the in-form Southern Storm, who has done all of her winning so far on Polytrack and is still climbing the weights. Roly Tricks won three times over course and distance last year but steps up a couple of grades for this and is also 3lb wrong in the weights. Victoria Pollard is lightly-raced but may have preferred a quicker surface.
