Verdict

Covert Mission has been a prolific scorer on artificial surfaces and the handicapper has unsurprisingly continued to put him up the weights as a consequence. Poetic Force won a claimer at seemingly unfavourable terms on his reappearance to action and wasn’t far away when tried here off the same mark. DARVEL won well on a second start for Patrick Chamings and still remains potentially well treated in relation to some of the earlier marks he realised when in the care of Kevin Ryan. Granary Queen could grab first run here this afternoon and that may open up possibilities.
