Verdict
In what looks a very open handicap Saxon Lil was successful at Doncaster on Saturday night and so has to be respected as she makes quick returns to the track, however Sweet Lorraine looks the pick on last season's form and is taken to oblige, Cross My Shadow may do best of the remainder. The Terry Mills trained filly looked in need of her seasonal run behind Disguise at Bath last time and is better judged on her second to recent winner Hidden Chance at Folkestone last July. She makes her handicap debut on a decent mark and looks the one to be on. Saxon Lil just got the better of Sam's Secret in that Doncaster event after coming from a very poor draw, there could be more top come this afternoon. Cross My Shadow looks the pick of the others having been in consistent form all season, but Sweet Lorraine looks the pick of the weights today and gets our vote.
