        Verdict

        MISS FAY was slowly away on debut at Lingfield but was staying on when badly hampered approaching the final furlong. She'll know more today and can improve past the likes of Akkadian Empire, not disgraced in a Class 2 at Goodwood after a second at Epsom, and Tesko Fella. Richard Hannon's colt is improving but will be qualified for handicaps after this. Rising Eagle has had plenty of chances while Hernandes was entered to run at Salisbury yesterday. Lingfield third Rock On Dandy and newcomer Come On Come On may be best of the rest.
