Verdict
Mel Brittain's Big Slick can complete the hat-trick here at the main expense of Handsinthemist and Regal Veil. The selection won in good style at Musselburgh last time when Handsinthemist finished fourth. The latter has a pull in the weights today but our selection won with a bit in hand that day and he still looks to be improving. Handsinthemist can go well though from his high draw and he is respected. Regal Veil is the other to merit serious consideration even if she is probably better over 6f. However, her yard are known for liking a tilt at the ring so if the market vibes are positive then she would have to be of interest. Captain Turbot hails from the yard that won this last year but the draw has not done him any favours, and we will stick with Big Slick to win again.
